Rhody rolls to start Day 2.

FOXBORO – As play continued at New England Pro Am Hockey’s 2019 Mini Chowder Cup, Little Rhody Hockey Club opened Day 2 as they did Day 1, with a victory. This time it was a 4-1 win over Cape Cod Hockey first thing Saturday morning at the Foxboro Sports Center.

Little Rhody jumped out to the lead on goals by Rowan Brennan and Brendan Whitchurch, but Cape Cod cut their deficit in half late on a goal by Austin Hollander to send the game to the break at a score of 2-1.

Upon their return, Rhody went on to match their output in the second frame to distance themselves from their foe. This time it was Nicky Tunno and Michael Healey putting scores on the board for the victors in solidifying the 4-1 win.

Brennan’s two points (1G, 1A) led all scorers in the contest, while Michael Rosenthal was credited with the win in net for Little Rhody.
