Foxboro, Mass. — Performance Hockey Group Black 2013 Elite responded to an early deficit with seven consecutive goals, pulling away for a 7-3 victory over NJ Rockets Premier on Sunday morning in Mini Chowder Cup action.

NJ Rockets Premier struck first when Nolan Lenhart (#20) opened the scoring early in the contest.
Performance Hockey Group Black 2013 Elite answered in emphatic fashion, reeling off seven straight goals to take control. Keegan Vertentes (#3) started the surge off assists from Jaxson Riveras (#8) and Ryan Williams (#6) before Sonny Grealish (#7) gave his team the lead.
The offense continued to roll as Riveras (#8) found the back of the net with assists from Peyton Holmes (#11) and Williams (#6). Moments later, Williams (#6) scored off a feed from Grealish (#7) to extend the advantage.
Riveras (#8) added his second goal of the game, this time set up by Williams (#6), before Liam Brymer (#5) extended the lead after receiving passes from Holmes (#11) and Grealish (#7). Brian Valente (#1) later capped the scoring run.
NJ Rockets Premier picked up two late goals from Rocco Luppino (#27) and Lenhart (#20), but the late push wasn’t enough as Performance Hockey Group Black 2013 Elite secured the 7-3 win.
