Foxboro, Mass. — Coast Elite Purple 2012 Elite struck three times in the opening period and never looked back, shutting out Hallzy Films 2012 Elite, 3-0, on Sunday morning in Mini Chowder Cup action.

Coast Elite Purple 2012 Elite wasted little time getting on the board as Kellan Buckley (#8) finished a play created by Jacob Frizzell (#6) and Emmett Carr (#9) to open the scoring.
The lead doubled later in the period when Mateo Vazquez (#2) buried a setup from Marshall Hayes (#22), giving Coast Elite Purple 2012 Elite a two-goal cushion.
Before the period came to a close, Wyatt Koerber (#19) added the finishing touch with an assist from Austin Roy (#20), extending the advantage to 3-0.
Hallzy Films 2012 Elite continued to battle throughout the remainder of the contest, but Coast Elite Purple 2012 Elite’s defense held firm to preserve the shutout and secure the 3-0 victory.
