CANTON –Power Play Hockey notched an ’09 division win on Friday at the Canton Ice House when they defeated Top Speed Hockey 4-2.
The game’s first half both started and ended with an even score as both sides notched a tally in the opening frame. Carter Edmonds for Power Play and Harry Malmqvist From for Top Speed made it 1-1 at the half.
Power Play’s offense took off in the second, striking thrice in securing their victory. CJ Ericson, Joshua Cevera and Griffin Atkinson each with a score. Top Speed did get a goal of their own from Vincent Näsström, but did were not able to rally and overtake Power Play. The game ending 4-2.
