CANTON – A tale of two halves resulted in a 2-2 draw between Power Play Hockey and Young Selects on Friday at the Canton Ice House in ’08 division play at the 2022 Mini Chowder Cup.
The game’s first half belonged to Young. Matthew Selimas and a power play goal from Arthur Napreev staked Young out to a 2-0 advantage that they carried through the intermsion.
Power Play, in turn, took over in the second. It was their time to net a pair. Zachary Dietz and Robert Engel with the scores to bring things to the 2-2 final.
Netminders Nate Bowers of Power Play and Young’s Carter Gardocki stood tall in their respective goal creases for the contest.
