Foxborough, Mass. — Rapid Hockey Red 2012 Elite rallied from a two-goal deficit to defeat Sharks Hockey 2012 Elite, 3-2, on Sunday at Foxboro Rink 2, securing the 2012 Elite Division Mini Chowder Cup title.

Rapid Hockey Red 2012 Elite came out strong as Nolan Cooper found the back of the net twice in the opening minutes, giving his team an early 2-0 advantage.
Sharks Hockey 2012 Elite answered with a response of its own, as Nicholas Santos scored twice to erase the deficit and even the championship game at 2-2 heading into the latter stages of the period.
With momentum hanging in the balance, Rapid Hockey Red 2012 Elite capitalized on its lone power-play opportunity when Killian Cruth buried the eventual game-winning goal off assists from Renaud D’Amours and Mario Joseph Diaco. Rapid Hockey Red 2012 Elite then held firm defensively over the closing minutes, preserving the one-goal lead to secure the 2012 Elite Division Mini Chowder Cup title.
