Foxborough, Mass. — East Coast Kings 2013 Elite pulled away with a dominant first-period performance to defeat East Coast Yeti, 5-2, on Sunday at Foxboro Rink 2 and capture the 2013 Elite Division Mini Chowder Cup title.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
East Coast Kings 2013 Elite set the tone almost immediately as Cam Dryer (#19) found the back of the net just seconds into the game. East Coast Yeti answered with a goal from Zachary Rappleyea (#74), assisted by Brekken Mosser (#9), but the Kings quickly regained the momentum.
Cam Elrick (#17) restored the Kings’ lead with help from Dryer (#19) before Michael Muffareh (#89) extended the advantage off an assist from Henry Haney (#22). Haney (#22) then added two goals of his own to put East Coast Kings 2013 Elite firmly in control.
East Coast Yeti continued to battle until the final buzzer, getting a late goal from Mason Levandowsky (#8) off another assist from Mosser (#9). However, East Coast Kings 2013 Elite remained composed over the closing minutes, sealing the 5-2 victory and securing the 2013 Elite Division Mini Chowder Cup title.
