CANTON – The Boston Jr. Blues notched their first win of the tournament in their first contest on Friday morning at the 2022 Mini Chowder Cup. They defeated V Hockey 3-0 at the Canton Ice House in ’08 division play.
It was a goal in the first and then two in the second half for the Boston offense to set the victory. Caleb Romph tucked one away in the first for the 1-0 Blues lead at the intermission. Jaiden Golden and Roman Scala each struck in the second to finalize the 3-0 victory.
Netminder Joseph Skidmore shut things down to earn the shutout.
