Second half runaway nets Parisi Black 5-2 win.

CANTON – Parisi Hockey Black punctuated a strong start to their first day of play at the 2018 Mini Chowder Cup. A four-goal second half solidified a 5-2 win over the Supersonic Danglers and a 2-0-0 start to the tournament.

It was Parisi in the end, but Supersonic at the start. They took the game’s first lead just 1:56 into the contest on a Jaden Duprey goal. The goal coming off a setup from Zachary Hawthorne.

Ben Mercurio drew the game back to even for Parisi. His goal at 11:40 made 1-1, where it remained for the duration of the first half.

While the Danglers went on to equal their scoring output from the first in the second, Parisi went on to quadruple their own. Alex Walsh scored just 37-seconds in. A power play by Ryan Bowman at 10:13 made it 3-2 in favor of Parisi. The insurance goal came from Dominic Eacuello at 11:52. Bowman then capped off the 5-2 final at 13:14.

Bowman’s two goals led the game’s scoring, while Drew Carr was credited with the win in net for Parisi.
