BRIDGEWATER – Townshend Hockey picked up their first ’08 division win of the 2022 Mini Chowder Cup on Saturday as they defeated Mad Dog’s Hockey 3-1 at Bridgewater Ice Arena East.
Townshend did their damage in the first, striking for all three of their goals in the opening frame. Sam Northrop, Peter Menexas on the power play, and Elijah Goodman with the scores.
Mad Dog’s Logan Bettencourt got his side on the board with a second half tally, but it was the only one his side could manage to get past goaltender Zachari Fontenault, who backstopped the 3-1 win for Townshend.
